Return to play: Lamar Odom, pictures attending the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival in 2012 is apparently set to resign with the Los Angeles Clippers
Sources told UsWeekly that the star had several meetings with his former team and met with players and is set to re-sign.
Additionally Lamar is said to have had a two hour meeting with management from the Los Angeles basketball team on Friday.
This was confirmed by the Clippers coach Doc Rivers who said the duo had a 'good conversation' and confirmed that his interest in the troubled forward is strong but would not comment on the status of any negotiations.
Meanwhile Lamar who was seen landing at LAX airport on Sunday morning and apparently told waiting TMZ reporters that discussions were underway for his return to his once loved team.

Lamar played for the Los Angeles team in the 2012/2013 NBA season but was not re-signed by the Clippers despite their best attempts.
As the troubled star's personal issues boiled over this summer with allegations of drug abuse and infidelity rocking his life he seemed to literally drop off the radar.
Due to Lamar severing ties with all those close to him his representatives were unable to negotiate his new contract with the Clippers.
The 6 foot ten inch sportsman has had a turbulent time in the last couple of months as he has reportedly battled addiction issues and marital woes with his reality star wife Khloe Kardashian.

However the sports star has certainly been cutting a healthier figure as of late looking as though he has added some much needed weight to his lanky frame and is said to be sober and in therapy.
His marriage to Khloe who is the youngest of the Kardashian sisters is also said to be in a better state although the duo are yet to formally move back in together.
With this latest news on his potential return to what was a once glittering basketball career it seems hopeful that the troubled star is on the path to recovery in every sense of the word.
