'Marriage doesn’t scare us, but we’re not in a rush either,' the Sparkle actress clarified.

For the saccharine spread, shot by photographer Patric Shaw, the Whatcha Say singer can be seen nuzzling the American Idol winner's neck.

In another lovestruck pose, Jordin hops on Jason's back for a playful piggy-back ride.

In most of the shots, the cute couple are casually attired with the exception of one hot pink Thakoon dress, which accentuated Jordin's tiny waist thanks to her 50-pound weight loss last July.

The six-foot starlet also displayed a variety of big hairstyles with her massive mane, including a high ponytail and 1960's inspired pigtails.

And in the shot where she's lovingly gazes at Jason, Jordin appeared to have a tumble of brunette hair extensions cascading all around her.

'I’ve worked so hard to get my hair this length,' Sparks said. 'It was so damaged after Idol.'

'I hope she never cuts it. She transforms herself with it,' the In My Head crooner added.

'I give her names for the people she becomes. When her hair is in a bun, I call her Simone. When it’s curly, I call her Chiquita.'

Both Sparks and Derulo have new albums due out this year, and Jordin's new single is scheduled to drop next month.

Jordin was still glowing with love on Friday when she took to her Twitter to write: 'Ever been so caught off guard by how much you love someone? Yeah, that just happened to me again. <3'

Sparks will next appear in The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, which premieres at the Sundance Film Festival on January 25.
