Troubled rapper Flavor Flav ticketed and released for speeding in New York to attend mother's funeral as he faces trial on felony assault charges in Nevada


In trouble again: New York State police say Flavor Flav was ticketed for speeding and driving without a license while en route to his mother's funeral in suburban New York.
More problems: Hip hop legend Flavor Flav has pleaded not guilty and is free on bond pending trial on April 28 in Nevada state court on charges of felony assault with a deadly weapon and child endangerment with a weapon
Danger zone: Seen here during the King Of The Mic Tour in June, Flavor Flav, whose legal name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr, was stopped on Thursday after he was clocked driving 79 mph in a 55 mph zone
He is accused of threatening his longtime girlfriend's then-17-year-old son with a butcher's knife during a family dispute.
