Mwanajamii anaandika....
I wonder why it took him so long to speak out. May be they will listen to this great African, one of the great figures of the 21st Century. African leaders have much to learn. Why? because, post Independence African governments have been unprincipled, corrupt, and full of selfish leaders. Few of them have consented to share power freely or supported development of a vibrant civil society. Can you believe it; people are being rewarded to relinquish power when their moment is over. A few have implemented with this and gone away with it while others have faced the heat of resistance from both inside and globally. African leaders such as Yoweri Museveni (23yrs), Robert Mugabe (29yrs), Muhamar Ghadafi (40yrs), Hosni Mubarak (28yrs), Omar Bongo (42), Melik Zenawi (18), Paul Kagame (15), and Paul Biya (25) need to go. Africans (Wananchi) also need to make changes in the way we elect our leaders. Time and again we put them into office despite their poor performance. What a continent! We need more Africa’s Nyereres and Mandelas.
